TAG presented the fresh new version of its chronometer range at Baselworld 2018 which is a great blend of two of its famous complications a tourbillon and a chronograph.
TAG Heuer Carrera was born 55 years ago and TaG plans to sell only 155 watches to celebrate the great journey. The 45mm case is crafted in a midnight blue ceramic, with a ceramic bezel and lugs and the watch is complemented by a rubber-sewn black alligator strap with blue stitching.
The new Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer gets the “Tête de Vipère”certification awarded by the Besançon Observatory which highlights the precision and reliability of a timepiece, to obtain this certificate of excellence, each watch was subjected to a 16-day test protocol, in five positions and at three different temperatures this was applied to both the watch and movement. The Besançon Observatory has only certified 500 watches so far since 2006.
