Swatch first introduced the Jellyfish in 1980s, Designed by Marlyse Schmid,launched in a limited edition of 200 pieces and was the first “Special Model” introduced by Swatch. The jellyfish was considered as a the funkiest, most fun to own watch and was accepted well by watch enthusiasts.
The latest Big Bang Jellyfish marks the return of the historic design and maintains the original elements, accept the case size which is much larger at 47mm than the earlier 34mm. The oversized and bold transparent dial and case give a very clear view of the quartz movement and maintain the former style of red, blue, and yellow hands, paired with a translucent caseback and a silicone strap.
