Seiko Tuna is the name given to a range of watches designed for scuba and professional diving and due to its similarity to a can of Tuna when viewed from the side. The range was the first to feature a ceramic-coated titanium shroud, a titanium monocoque case, an L-shaped gasket, and a vented rubber strap. The main function of all the Tuna range of watches is to withstand extreme pressures while diving.
2018 the new line of Seiko Prospex are solar-powered divers and make use of Seiko’s in-house caliber V157 movement and offer 10 months of power reserve. They are also water resistant up to 200m and are fully compliant with the international standard for all diver’s watches (ISO 6425). Coming in three colour options; olive, grey and navy blue, the range features Seiko’s signature bezel shroud. The 47mm steel cases of all three models are coated with a matte finish and the rotating bezels are given a colored insert to match the overall colors of the case
