Omega to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing has just launched the new Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 Stainless Steel, which pays homage to the ST 105.003 worn by American astronaut Edward White in 1965.
The latest is very similar to the original watch worn by Edward White. Omega team which worked on great details and reconstructed the movement to its original specs. The 39.7 mm Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 is identical with a “dot over Ninety” detail and the model features a bezel ring in polished black ceramic [ZrO2], a tachymeter scale in white enamel; and a black step dial with Moonwatch hands and vintage OMEGA logo.
Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 becomes the second modern Omega watch to have this historically significant movement. Priced at USD 14100 Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 is going to be a treat for collectors, being the closest one can get to the actual 1957 Speedmaster and getting a chance to own Calibre 321, the driving force behind the Omega chronograph extraordinary space history.
