H. Moser & Cie took five years to to develop the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic. A truly well executed piece which takes inspiration from the retro streamliner trains from the 1930s.
The 42.3 mm aerodynamic case in stainless steel houses a calibre HMC 902 self-winding automatic chronograph with a central display and flyback function, developed by AGENHOR especially for H. Moser & Cie. The chronograph function of the Streamliner Flyback. Chronograph Automatic can be used underwater. Its off-center crown, adorned with an “M”, balances the two chronograph push-buttons set at 10 and 2 o’clock.
H Moser & Cie has again used their signature fumé dial along with griffé to anthracite shade of grey. Watchbazar loves the very fluidic bracelet and the layout view of the sapphire caseback where the full movement including the column wheel can be seen without the rotor which is very well situated between the movement and the dial. All the links are articulated and feature a gentle wave combining a vertical brushed finish with polished surfaces. The bezel has a sunray brushed finish; the case has alternating brushed and polished surfaces, with hollowed and satin-finished forms on the sides, in a nod to the typical shapes of Moser cases. H. Moser & Cie. has selected three-dimensional curvedhands, with two sections. These have inserts containing Globolight®, an innovative ceramic-based material which contains Super-LumiNova® and has never before been used on hands.
