To celebrate the 2019 edition of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie de Genève (SIHH), Girard-Perregaux showcased its new and stunning creation. The GP Laureato Perpetual Calendar. The architectural features associated with the Laureato (2016) are visible in the newest version too , which houses a perpetual calendar spread out on the galvanic blue Clous de Paris dial in an unusual fashion.
The date display is read on an off-centered display between 2 and 3 o’clock, while the day of the week hovers on a small, off-centered subdial at 9 o’clock. The month appears in a semi-circular display at 6 o’clock, with leap years tracked above. The blue dial bears the model’s signature Clous de Paris hobnail pattern. Brought to life with a 1970 designed 42mm steel case the latest Laureato is powered by the GP01800 033 movement that has 54 hours of power reserve.
