The Zenith Chronomaster El Primero Range Rover Velar Special Edition is the second timepiece in a long-term partnership between the two companies.
The tie-up was announced in September 2016 with the unveiling of the El Primero special edition chronograph. This watch featured Range Rover branding on the dial, Fitted with the high-frequency El Primero 400B movement, the new El Primero Range Rover Special Edition chronograph features vintage-style pushers and a seconds hand detail redolent of the vehicle’s famous grille.
On the back of the watch stand the written Range Rover and Velar elegantly engraved on the oscillating weight and on the retaining ring of the transparent case back. The El Primero Velar is accompanied by a co-designed strap, made of sustainable rubber covered in Dark Gray calf leather, perforated with diamonds.
The leather of the strap is the same Scottish leather used for the acclaimed interiors of the Range Rover; the triple deployant buckle is made of titanium coated with diamond carbon (DLC).
