Omega is celebrating the Seamaster Aqua Terra line for its 15th Anniversary and to mark the occasion they’re releasing a new flagship Worldtimer Master Chronometer limited edition.
In 2002, when a new model was created, it seemed perfectly natural to give it a name that represented the heritage and versatility that the Seamaster was known for. Hence, the Aqua Terra was born.
The 43 mm symmetrical case is made from platinum-gold and includes a mix of polished and brushed surfaces and hands with Super-Lumi Nova coating. A handcrafted enamel world map sits at the center of the watch and is surrounded by a 24 hour indication. There is also a circle of global destinations printed in red (GMT), black (+1h in summer) or blue (places without daylight savings). As a special touch, these destinations include the city of Bienne at GMT+1, Omega’s home in Switzerland. The view over the North Pole is surrounded by a 24-hour indication.
On the reverse side, there is a wave-edged design and several engravings including each unique Limited Edition number. The timepiece is water resistant up to 15 bar (150m I 500ft) and comes presented on a brown leather strap
Only 87 of the Worldtimers will be produced @ US$ 48,600 https://www.omegawatches.com/
