Rolex showed the Cellini Moonphase @ Baselworld 2017.This new model encloses a mechanical winding movement entirely manufactured by Rolex automatic, equipped with a module of lunar phases patented with an astronomical precision of 122 years.
The round case of the classic diameter 39 mm made in the Rolex foundry is in 18k gold. Like all models Cellini , the Moonphase is distinguished by the refined handles, for the full gloss finish and the double curved bezel and knurled.The full moon is made from fragments of meteorite, collected in Namibia while the new moon is represented by a circle. An indicator, located at 12 o’clock of this sub-dial, points the phase of the nocturnal star.Casing waterproof to 50 meters. Priced @ $ 26,750.
