The 29-year-old Jamaican sprinter has worked with Hublot for several years now, and has even collaborated with the brand on the design of a couple of Hublot Big Bang watches that bear his name.
Usain six-time Olympic champion and eleven-time world champion is promoting two new limited edition timepieces made by Hublot which symbolise Bolt’s objective at this year’s Games: a third triple gold Olympics. The Big Bang Unico pieces – an all-gold one and an all-black one – present in the 45mm Big Bang case, with the seconds hand of its flyback chronograph movement shaped like a lightning bolt. The design is tinged with green and gold and the strap is marked with the silhouette of the Jamaican flag, paying homage to Bolt’s origins. On the sapphire case back that reveals the UNICO manufacture movement, the silhouette of “Lightning Bolt” displays his emblematic victory sign.
Only 100 pieces in yellow gold and 250 in black ceramic available.
