Citizen unveiled its first ever Tourbillon Y01 a very limited-edition watch, only two watches will be made to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Daimaru, a Japanese department store that started way, way back in 1717 as a dry-goods store.
The 42 mm dial is scratch resistant, as is the caseback which reveals the mechanical manual wound caliber M001-Y01. This movement is decorated with Côtes de Geneve, and perlage for the plate under the dial. The screws are made from titanium, and the tourbillon carriage is a titanium alloy used for its strength and lightness. Caliber M001-Y01 carries 100 hours of power reserve and alternates at 21,600 VpH.
